Hypromellose (HPMC for short) is a nonionic cellulose ether made from natural cellulose through chemical modification. Medical-grade HPMC complies with the pharmacopoeia standards of various countries (such as USP, EP, CP), featuring high purity, safety and excellent physicochemical properties, and is widely used in drug preparations.
Viscosity range: Multiple viscosity grades (such as 5 mPa·s, 15 mPa·s, 50 mPa·s, 4000 mPa·s, etc.) to meet the requirements of different preparations.
Degree of substitution: The contents of methoxy (-OCH ₃) and hydroxypropoxy (-OCH ₂CHOHCH₃) are adjustable, affecting solubility and gel temperature.
