Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) is multifunctional as a lubricant, foam enhancer and stabilizer, thickener, emulsion stabilizer and film former for hair and skin care products. HPMC is especially useful in surfactant systems for its foam enhancing properties, helping with the formation of bubble structure, leading to richer, longer lasting lather. HPMC has a high tolerance for both salt and alcohol.
Emulsifier: It mixes up the two different phases in each other to make a uniform consistency of the preparation. It acts as an emulsifying agent in the formulations to give them an optimal look and finally improves the stability of the product.
Thickener: It is used as a thickening agent in preparing color cosmetics, makeup products, and nail care products to thicken their consistency for better use.
Detergents & Cleansers: It can soften water's hardness. It enhances the ability to foam during the process of washing & cleaning. It leads to eco-friendly cleaning/washing nicely without drying.

Recommended percentage use= 1 - 20%.
