SLES (Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate, Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfonate) is an anionic surfactant, widely used in personal care, household cleaning and industrial fields. It is synthesized by adding ethylene oxide (EO) to lauryl alcohol and then sulfonating and neutralizing it. It possesses excellent cleaning, foaming and emulsifying properties, and is mild and low in irritation, suitable for various formulation systems.
