Foaming agent is a chemical additive that can produce gas under specific conditions and form uniform and stable foam. It is widely used in industries such as plastics, rubber, building materials, daily chemicals, and food packaging. By regulating the decomposition temperature and gas release rate of the foaming agent, performance optimizations such as lightweight, sound insulation and heat insulation, and shock absorption and vibration reduction can be achieved.

Typical application fields
Plastic and rubber industry

Micro-perforated soles, yoga MATS, sports floor MATS (lightweight + elastic enhancement).

Automotive interior parts (dashboard, door panel sound insulation layer).

Packaging materials (cushioning foam, foamed sheet materials).

Building materials industry

Foamed cement (lightweight partition board, insulation material).

PVC foam boards, wood-like decorative materials.

Daily Chemicals and Food

Aerosol products (shaving foam, cleaning mousse).

Food packaging foam layer (degradable option optional).

Technical parameters (Example)
Decomposition temperature: 110°C to 220°C (customizable).

Gas generation capacity: 120-200 mL/g (depending on the model).

Appearance: White or light yellow powder/granules.

Addition amount: 0.5% - 5% (adjusted according to the material system).

Usage Suggestions

  • Pretreatment: Mix evenly with the base resin to avoid excessive local concentration.
  • Process adaptation: When injection molding, extrusion or compression molding, the decomposition temperature of the foaming agent and the processing temperature need to be matched.
  • Storage conditions: Store in a sealed container in a cool and dry place, protected from moisture and light.
