It is an anionic surfactant. It is easily soluble in water and has good compatibility with anions and non-ions. It has good emulsification, foaming, penetration, decontamination and dispersion properties. It is widely used in toothpaste, shampoo, shampoo cream, shampoo, washing powder, liquid washing, cosmetics and plastic demoulding, lubrication, as well as pharmaceutical, papermaking, building materials, chemical and other industries.
It generates abundant foam and is biodegradable quickly, but its water solubility is lower than that of sodium fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate (referred to as AES). It is not sensitive to alkali and hard water, but its stability under acidic conditions is second only to common sulfonates and close to AES. Long-term heating should not exceed 95℃. Its irritability is at a medium level among surfactants. The irritation index of a 10% solution is 3.3, which is higher than AES but lower than sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (referred to as LAS). It is widely used as a foaming agent in toothpaste, soap, bath lotion, shampoo, laundry powder and cosmetics. Sodium dodecyl sulfate is contained in 95% of personal skin care products and household cleaning products.

Product Introduction

Use

Sodium dodecyl sulfate has excellent decontamination, emulsifying and foaming capabilities. It can be used as a detergent and textile auxiliaries, as well as an anionic surface activator, toothpaste foaming agent, mine fire extinguishing agent, foaming agent for fire extinguishers, emulsifier for emulsion polymerization, emulsifying and dispersing agent for medicine, shampoo and other cosmetic products, wool detergent Detergent for fine silk and wool fabrics. Flotation agents for metal beneficiation.
1. Surfactants, detergents, foaming agents, wetting agents, etc.
2. Relatively low-grade ion-pairing reagents, when the requirements are not high, are cheaper than sodium heptane and pentane sulfonate.
3. As raw materials, they are used for material modification.
4. Capillary electrophoresis analysis, additives, generally prepared into molar solutions for use.
5. Other analytical methods are also used, such as mobile column analysis.
