SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) is an anionic surfactant. Its core principle of application lies in its "lipophilic-hydrophilic" amphiphilic structure, which reduces the surface and interfacial tension of liquids. It forms micelles in water to encapsulate oil and dirt, enabling decontamination and emulsification. Additionally, due to the polyoxyethylene ether chain in its structure, it has lower irritation and better stability in hard water. It is widely used in cleaning products and toiletries for foaming and cleaning purposes.
