Characteristics: It is a kind of ionic surfactant, referred to as L8. It has the properties of cleaning, wetting, foaming, emulsification, and dispersion. This product has strong cleaning power, good foaming power and foam stability. It has good stability in acidic, alkaline and certain oxide solutions (such as sodium hypocyanate, peroxide, etc.), and has good compatibility with other surfactants and additives.

(1) LABSA is mainly used in the detergent industry. It is one of the most important and cheapest surfactants in washing powder and liquid detergents. It is used as a wetting agent and a small amount of emulsifier together with other surfactants for soap foaming. It is used to make sodium, calcium and ammonium salts of anionic surfactant alkylbenzene sulfonic acid.
