Diacetate fiber tow is a polymer material made from natural cellulose (wood, cotton linters, etc.) through acetification to diacetate cellulose and then through spinning and other processes. This material has a Y-shaped single-filament cross-section structure and has excellent hygroscopicity, air permeability and adsorption properties. It is mainly used in the manufacture of cigarette filters and can effectively intercept harmful components in smoke. Its chemical properties are stable, but the ester bond is easily destroyed by strong acids and alkalis. It also has thermoplasticity and good processability. In addition to the tobacco field, it can also be used in medical dressings, textile fabrics, special coatings and other fields.

Production process
1. Raw material processing: acetify wood pulp or cotton pulp to produce cellulose diacetate sheets
2. Spinning: After dissolution and filtration, the filaments are stretched through the spinning unit to form filaments. After the filaments are discharged from the tube, they need to be oiled to reduce flying waste
3. Subsequent processing: The curling process forms a three-dimensional structure, and finally dries and shapes them into tows
